Congratulations to Mrs. Darla Lewis the DES Teacher of the Year!  Mrs. Lewis has been teaching in Jefferson County for 36 years.  She still has a love for learning and joy for teaching!  Each day is about helping her students grow, learn and know that they are loved!  She hopes to continue doing this wonderful job for a few more years!
