On May 22, 2025, Jefferson County High School’s Patriot Academy will be participating in an active shooter Functional Drill Exercise with first responders. This Exercise will be conducted by Jefferson City Fire Chief, Lee Turner. During this exercise the school and emergency personnel will have the opportunity to practice operating procedures currently in place. This will give both the school system and emergency personnel the ability to test procedures in the absence of a real event. If you are concerned about your child’s ability to participate in this event, please contact the school to discuss possible solutions.
